Walter Romero Menon is Assistant Professor at the Department of Philosophy at the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). CNPQ Research Line: Contemporary Philosophy; aesthetics. Areas of interest: Aesthetics, Philosophy of Art, Philosophy of Technique, with emphasis on the relationship between aesthetics, philosophy of language, philosophy of technique, theory of knowledge. Postdoctoral fellow under the supervision of Bernadette Bensaude-Vincent in 2015 at CETCOPRA, CENTRE DETUDE DES TECHNIQUES DES CONNAISSANCES ET DES PRATIQUES Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne. Doctor in philosophy from the University of Paris VIII under the supervision of Jacques Poulain. He was a postdoctoral researcher at the NEVIS Center for Studies on Violence and Security of the Department of Sociology at the University of Brasilia, linked to the INCT VIOLENCE, DEMOCRACY AND CITIZEN SECURITY, with the project: between Politics and Policy. Since 1998 he works as a visual artist having participated in numerous exhibitions and visual arts projects.
